Not Satisfied.

Balance transfers from other credit companies are not allowed. That is the reason that I'm giving them one star.

Beyond reason

5 months ago I received a call about possible fraudulent charges on my card & yes the charges were fraudulent, In fact,, this is the third time the card was accessed & used fraudulently. I have submitted all necessary paperwork to the fraud dept twice now & continue to receive non stop calls about the delinquent account. How can a company be so inept in following through with claims? I have asked for the account to be closed & have been assured that I have completed the required paperwork for the appeal. Yet, I continue to get ongoing phone calls from Macy’s & Citibank that the account is delinquent. Enough ! Please do your part & get this resolved. I will never get another Macys credit card & don’t recommend anyone else have one. Good luck if your account ever gets hacked, it’s bern ridiculous.

Beware of Macy's upsell on American Express Credit Card

Went to purchase an engagement ring at Macy's and had a Macy's credit card already but was asked If I wanted to upgrade to their Premier card to get an additional reduction on purchase. I agreed and was approved with even a higher limit amount, hey no problem. Then I receive a letter from Macy's as was denied because you can't multiple Macy" accounts which I can understand so I called to inquire and after understanding why the letter I sort got mad because I was approved for the new credit card but it's not a Macy's it's an American Express card . Most places I shop do not not accept American Express cards because of the fee's they charge and seems to be a trend. At the time of my purchase I did not need any increase in limit to purchase the ring. Point being I was never told just what credit card company I was applying for.

Bad credit card and bad service

I think one star is too much for this service . My wife credit score dropped from 780 to 580 for bad apps, and when i called them they said sorry for that, My advice just Keep away from this service

Not a good experience

Made a small purchase in July and never received a bill. Had a check sent from my bank to pay it in late August because I keep records of my purchases and knew the amount. Three months later I received a bill for $60. Called. Turns out they were charging me a $20 late fee each month on a zero balance because I had paid the August bill a couple of days late (remember the bill I never got?) I had not received any other bills either until I received the October bill of $60. They promised to fix it and clear my account, and I thanked them. However, I was so put off by the charges on a zero balance that I also opted to cancel the card. Now the $60 is showing up on my credit report as an overdue bill. I have destroyed the card and have no way of contacting American Express to get it fixed. If I call, they insist they need my social security number in order to find my card. Really? I'm going to trust them with my social security number after this?
