Had a Centurion Black card for 4 years

I've had the Centurion card for a few years now, and there are lots of benefits that are worthy of awe. The points rewards system is 3 points per $1 AUD, except for overseas purchases, which are 3x3 points. There are many free benefits like top-tier memberships to almost all hotel and car rental programs (I have 6 loyalty cards through this) and invitations to monthly exclusive events.
However, the exclusive events mostly have a premium cost, their concierge and lifestyle assistance will book flights and hotels often with no discount (sometimes even with extra fees!) - and recently I have ended up doing my own bookings for flights etc. as I want to save money.
They have made mistakes (once booking a flight to Dublin instead of Dubai) and missed offering me specials that I later found out about - so the Centurion service is not really much better than Amex Platinum service.
I don't think it's worth the $5000 AUD annual fee - if it was $1000 then it would be better.
But, I did earn enough points from a single purchase of $122,000 that meant I could get return business class tickets from Sydney to London and a stay in the Savoy hotel - for free.
It's also very cool when people are amazed at the weight and thickness of the titanium card - it often draws comments and questions.
